Endangered & Delicious: Hong Kong Restaurant Panda Dumplings For A Limited Time Only

We know pandas are endangered, but we just MUST eat them!

Dim Sum Bar in Tsim Sha Tsui now serves panda dumplings that might just top Hong Kong’s Hello Kitty restaurant for the cutest food in town.

The Panda Chao Zhou Dumplings (HKD36), which won the Gold Award at the Best of the Best Culinary Awards 2015, are hopefully as dangerously delicious as they are adorable.

Chef Lung Ku combined traditional Cantonese flavors with the image of native Chinese animals to deliver a dining experience designed for Instagram.

However, bear-shaped bites are also at risk, with the dim sum option only offered for a limited time from September. Get them while they’re hot!

In the meantime, be like a panda and add some chub to your tum tum because Dim Sum Bar is also reintroducing its all-you-can-eat promotion. From 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. for HKD188, or from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for HKD208, you can load as many baos and buns as your tummy can handle.

To be fair, as much dim sum as you can eat in a normal restaurant will probably cost you HKD 100 at most – but these guys have panda dumplings.
