The HKTB has recruited Super Fans by invitation in Hong Kong and 20 key markets across HKTB’s global offices in Asia, Australasia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas. This week saw the launch of the program’s first activity – a virtual tour celebrating all that is unique about celebrating the Chinese New Year at Hong Kong – organized especially for the very first Super Fans. The trip took participants through the charismatic district of the central Old Town to learn about cherished traditions and shop for auspicious essentials, while enjoying a pre-delivered “good fortune bag” filled with ornaments. lucky charms, festive snacks and more, in the comfort of their own homes.
